LEGISLATION AND ADVOCACY FOR REDEVELOPMENT

CRA’s mission is to provide professional advocacy for the redevelopment field at California’s state capitol.  CRA is responsible for representing redevelopment agencies and the redevelopment field and advocating for sound redevelopment-related policy-making at both the state and federal levels.

CRA sponsors and monitors legislation related to redevelopment and housing.  CRA takes positions (support or oppose) on specific legislation when it is appropriate and meaningful.

CRA can not be an effective advocate alone. The response of CRA’s members to calls for action is indispensable to past, present, and future successes. At this site, you will find many resources and updates that will help keep you informed on the activities at California’s State Capitol and in the nation’s Capitol relative to the field of redevelopment.
