The Independent Cities Finance Authority is a Joint Powers Authority which provides local government, nonprofits, and other agencies with the ability to finance important projects that help address California’s housing crisis, and more. With bonding arranged through the Authority, the purchase of single-family and multi-family residential properties, including manufactured home communities, and can be financed. In addition, the Authority also helps fund a variety of capital improvements for municipalities, schools, special districts, and Mello-Roos facilities, as well as projects impacting the economic development of a community.
Independent Cities Finance Authority has been a member of the California Redevelopment Association since 2008.
