UPDATES ON SENDING ADOPTED EOPS TO DOF AND SCO

To all those who have asked questions about the EOPS and other related matters, CRA has been able to get updated information on where to send these documents.

This week, the Department of Finance (DOF) website was updated with new information following the Supreme Court stay orders. There they describe what they expect from agencies. In the new information, they state that they want the EOPS sent to them via a link or copy emailed to the address on the website. Here's a link to the site. DOF’s Local Government Unit is overseeing and can be reached at (916) 445-1546.

For the State Controller’s Office (SCO), Priscilla Moss, Chief of Local Government Accounting, has advised CRA that agencies have the following options.

To send by regular mail, mail the documents to:
State Controller’s Office Division of Accounting and Reporting
P.O. Box 942850
Sacramento, CA 94250-0001
Attn:  Redevelopment Agencies/Special Districts Reporting Section

To send overnight mail, use this address:
State Controller’s Office Division of Accounting and Reporting
3301 C Street, Suite 750
Sacramento, CA 95816
Attn:  Redevelopment Agencies/Special Districts Reporting Section

Please contact Ms. Moss at (916) 327-5376 or RDA-SDsupport@sco.ca.gov if you have further questions.

At this time, CRA does not have information for each of the county auditor-controllers. Thus, agencies will need to contact their county offices.

LITIGATION UPDATES POSTED ON CRA WEBSITE

CRA continues to post information and documents related to the lawsuit on its website under AB 1X 26/27 INFORMATION. Earlier this week, CRA and League of California Cities legal team prepared an advisory regarding completing and submitting the Enforceable Obligations Payment Schedule. The legal team also updated the Q&A on the Supreme Court’s stay orders for August 11 and August 17, which has been posted there as well.
