Approximately 30 cases are currently pending in the Sacramento County Superior Court challenging various provisions of AB1X 26 and AB 1484 with more cases threatening to be filed. Brent Hawkins, Partner with Best, Best & Krieger & CRA General Counsel, will provide workshop attendees with an update on the status of these cases, discuss the issues involved, and how they could affect cities and successors agencies in the future.
