The Murrieta Redevelopment Agency’s primary focus is the redevelopment of its urban corridors and development of the infrastructure needed to serve the project area. The infrastructure through roads and bridges is facilitating the development of shopping centers and offices to enhance the Area's economic vitality and promote the expansion of jobs. Key projects include the Triangle mixed use retail lifestyle center and office development, the Physicians Hospital and 5-story medical office building, an Education Center, and Class A office development. Housing set aside funds are proposed to acquire property for an additional affordable housing project.
City of Murrieta has been a member of the California Redevelopment Association since 2000.
