The Los Gatos Redevelopment Agency has focused on eliminating blight following the 1989 earthquake through streetscape, park and street improvements in the downtown. Current activities are focused on the construction of a new library and affordable housing, as well as economic vitality in the downtown.
Los Gatos Redevelopment Agency has been a member of the California Redevelopment Association since 2002.
