Moreno Valley, CA Office Development - Parks/Public Spaces: Moreno Valley Redevelopment Agency
The Agency currently has three primary areas of focus:
1. Capital Improvement Projects
2. Development Projects
3. Affordable Housing Development
Projects in Progress:
Day Street Reconstruction – Reconstruction and widening of this half-mile segment of Day Street will facilitate improved traffic safety and circulation between major industrial and retail areas in the project area. Award of this project is underway.
Indian Basin – Construction of detention basin that will collect slow flood waters thereby protecting surrounding neighborhoods.
Auto Mall Upgrades - $2 million project that includes roadway improvements and new monument signage.
Sunnymead Boulevard Revitalization - Construction of this multi-phase $12 million facelift of, one of a two mile city's historic area is underway through 2010.
Nason Street Overcrossing Bridge - The Agency is contributing $18 million to this $60 million project that includes widening of the bridge arm 2-4 lanes plus completing other Nason Street improvements.
Development Projects:
Box Springs Mutual Water – The Agency and local water company have received an EPA grant to develop a plan to upgrade and finance the water delivery system that serves approximately 500 acres within the project area.
Affordable Housing Projects: Studies were completed in 2009
Recently completed multi-family:
1. Oakwood Apartments - 240 low and very low income units
2. Rancho Dorado Apartments - 150 low and very low income units

1990.
