Rosemead, CA Office Development - Parks/Public Spaces: Rosemead Redevelopment Agency
The Community Development Commission oversees the redevelopment of the following two project areas:
Project Area No. 1 consists of 511 acres of which 151 acres are commercial,147 acres are zoned industrial, 71 acres residential, and the balance open spaces and schools. The Commission’s primary focus in this area is on infrastructure improvements such as streets, storm drains, sewers, water main upgrades, and public facilities.
Project Area No. 2 was formed in 2000 for the purpose of promoting Commission. It is hoped that this will be the start of the economic revival of Valley Boulevard.
Rosemead Redevelopment Agency has been a member of the California Redevelopment Association since
1990.
