The Redevelopment Agency’s purpose is to focus on projects to eliminate physical and economic blight conditions by constructing public improvements and utilities. It is the Agency’s objective that the completion of the proposed activities will encourage further private sector investment in commercial designated areas on Highway 111. This will fulfill the goal and objective to improve public recreation space while expanding the Project Area (and City) as a tourist-oriented resort community.

City of Indian Wells has been a member of the California Redevelopment Association since 1991.
