The Paramount Redevelopment Agency implements the Agency’s Redevelopment Plan which addresses a number of goals such as economic development, elimination of slum and blight, and sales tax growth. The Agency works with the development community, local property owners, and the local business community to implement its programs. The Agency has an active commercial façade rehabilitation program, and a residential façade rehabilitation program. The Agency is also actively involved in the development of affordable single family housing.
City of Paramount has been a member of the California Redevelopment Association since 1990.
