Studies for a planned Project Area Merger, extension and expansion, along with the update of the 5-year Implementation Plan are currently underway. The West Valley Specific Plan Amendment Area, a retail and high-density residential Specific Plan within the West Valley RDA and on the I-10 Freeway is scheduled to be completed in 4th Quarter 2010, as are several General Plan Element updates.
City of Colton has been a member of the California Redevelopment Association since 1990.
