What is Redevelopment?
Redevelopment rebuilds cities, creates affordable housing, creates jobs, and develops infrastructure.

What is CRA?
A non-profit organization established in 1979, the California Redevelopment Association proactively represents redevelopment agencies and allied firms, responds to legislative proposals and administrative regulations, provides member services, and conducts training and professional development events. CRA is 350 redevelopment agencies and 305 private sector companies such as financial institutions, redevelopment consultants, developers, and law firms involved in the redevelopment process.

Introduction to Redevelopment
Learn at this educational seminar and survey course on redevelopment held each spring and fall.

Redevelopment Institute
Attend to learn, or rise to train at one dozen in-depth, hands-on classes in small forums held each May and July.

Legal Issues Symposium
A conference and forum for discussion of legislative, judicial and executive issues convened each August.

Affordable Housing Conference
Attend a joint meeting of CRA and the California Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies each October to address California housing issues and needs.

Regional Legislative/Membership Meetings
Attend one of seven dates in October providing forums for discussion about results of CRA’s legislative efforts. This is also a chance for redevelopment agencies and private sector members to give the Association input and direction.

Annual Conference & Expo
A large convening of local and state officials, organizations and firms each March to take part in substantive sessions, small group discussions, a trade show, networking, keynotes that provoke thought and stir to action, develop relationships, and renew acquaintances.
