Individual Membership
The California Redevelopment Association has a special category of membership for elected officials and staff members to receive Redevelopment magazine, Executive Director’s Reports, Legislative Bill Reports, and professional development event announcements. The very affordable rate for Individual Membership is $75 per year, and $125 for international locations. The cost is worth receiving Redevelopment magazine alone!
Who can join as an Individual?
Individual membership is open only to those who are employed by an organization that is a CRA Agency Member or an Associate Member, or you must be a full-time professor or student*. You will save 10 percent on all CRA publications and 35 percent on workshop registration fees. If you are a student, you may take advantage of registration fee discounts of 50 percent off our normal event registration fees.
Our Association has been very active in the legislative arena where redevelopment and tax increment financing have been under constant assault. Much of our membership fee is devoted to bill drafting, bill analysis, advocacy, and other work related to legislation. Our legislation program has been very successful in keeping amendments to the Community Redevelopment Law reasonable and workable. In addition to our legislative activities we have multi-media presentations, and other public information available.
